Miss Friday and I made this delectable Red Velvet cake with cream cheese frosting for our family Valentine's Day dinner. The recipe is from The Sweeter Side of Amy's Bread. When I started marking every other page in this book, I knew I had to add it to my wish list. I highly recommend you add it to yours.
I made spicy orange chicken with honey peanuts (recipe to be posted), steamed broccoli, and basmati rice. Even though we are all under the weather, we managed to summon the strength to devour everything. Starve a cold and feed a fever, as they say.
I hope you enjoyed a wonderful Valentine's Day with your loved ones.

What a delicious looking cake. Miss Friday did well with it. Did she supervise the sprinkles? Sorry to hear you are all still suffering.
Hope you & your family are feeling better soon!

@Ashley - The heart sprinkles are my favourite. Our local bulk foods store sells about a zillion kinds. They're so fun!
I am not sure which is better, your cooking or your sewing. Both seem great!!
