Sparkle Up Your Holidays with Tess Designs - Part 1

I am so excited to share Tess Designs' Holiday Collection! Oh, my heavens, silk is truly used to its best advantage here. Theresa has really outdone herself showcasing style and elegance with her usual finesse. With nine dresses in this collection, available in beautiful jewel box colours, I know that you'll find something that with delight you.

As with each Tess Designs garment, the quality and craftsmanship is exceptional. Theresa personally oversees each and every step of the process, from design concept to seam finishes. With Theresa at the helm, you can be assured that you are purchasing a lovingly handcrafted garment with classic style and unmatched quality. These dresses will adorn you year after year.

Marilyn in Poison Apple Green

One of my most favourites is the Marilyn in Poison Apple Green. I cannot tell you how much I am coveting this dress! {Oh, woe! Why did I take my no clothes buying pledge? *wail!*} The dress is a rich and saturated apple green - I swear I can taste the marvellous sweet-sourness of it! Inspired by the classic halter dress and Theresa's vision of a curve-enhancing dress with a clean and crisp profile, the end result is exceptional!

A devilish v-neckline frames your face and emphasizes your curves tastefully. The lovely knee-length hemline will effortlessly take you from cocktail party to the theatre. The matching belt is one of Theresa's special touches.

This gorgeous dress also comes in deep, inky black. It definitely takes your LBD from basic to fabulous!

Continuing on with the flattering and classic sheath-style dress, I'm pleased to show you another favourite dress in the collection: Doris in Aqua.

Isn't the colour spectacular? In a sea of ho-hum holiday dresses, you would certainly stop traffic in this number! There is so much I love about this! The pleated shoulder, the piped waistline, and the incredible back detail. Theresa thought of everything in this ultra-feminine dress! Doris is also available in a beautiful daffodil silk.

Investing in high-quality, classic pieces is definitely smart-shopping. It is one of my long-term goals to stock my wardrobe with beautiful pieces that will see me through many a season for years to come. That's one of the many reasons I love Tess Designs.

If you're looking for an elegant, timeless dress I would definitely advise you to take a peek at Edie. Edie is available in several shades, but my favourite is the ice blue. I think ice blue is such a quintessentially classic colour that evokes images of Grace Kelly's cool beauty. It is a colour we have seen pop up in fashion time and time again.

Again Theresa has focused on the details to elevate this dress to another level. The delicate gathers at the back, beautiful skirt pleating, and the lovely matching silk belt really make this dress special.
