Sew Colette: My Meringue Muslin

Hello all you lovely Sew Colette sew-alongers! I've been having some techinical difficulties and will hopefully be able to post my Meringue muslin on Friday. Below is a video showing both pivot and slide adjustments - perfect for tailoring the waist and hip, as well as the overall length, for your Meringue.

In the meantime, be sure to post your muslins in the Flickr group where we can chat about personalizing the fit.

I must say I am so impressed by the muslins I've seen already! Time for a collective pat on the back, methinks!

Hi there! I'm planning on starting the Meringue soon....as soon as I can figure out my sizing. I saw your video on taking measurements. I came up with a Size 14 waist with a side 2 hip. EEEEP! I normally wear a size 6 in mass produced clothes. What's an odd sized girl to do?!!? Thanks in advance!

Hi can't access your video; not sure whether it's just me though. Thanks for your blog, I have learnt a lot through this project. I have finished my wearable muslin which I made in a cotton drill. The weight of the fabric is the key for this skirt. Once I had adjusted the sizings as it was too small, it fits really well.
