The Bali Ha'i Dress by Shabby Apple

I am so excited to have another opportunity to give away a fantastic Shabby Apple dress to one of you!  Long time readers will know that I have been able to give away lovely women's dresses before; the Lighthouse Dress and the Da Vinci Dress.  This time around I have fallen head-over-heels for Bali Ha'i Dress and I think you will, too!

With so many beautiful design to choose from, including maternity, plus size, fitness wear, little girls dresses, and an excellent selection of sale items, you can easily understand that it felt like a Herculean task to decide on a single item for this giveaway.  I so love a company that celebrates women of all shapes and sizes!

L'Or Belle Dress

As a vintage-loving lady, Shabby Apple really appeals to me with their incredible selection of vintage-inspired women's dress designs.  L'Or Belle from their Green Leaf Collection took my breath away.  What a glorious confection of silk and satin that would make any Mad Men era enthusiast weak in the knees!

Hopping around the Shabby Apple website, I fell completely down the rabbit hole when I came across their Mad Hatter Collection.  The Caterpillar Skirt was the first to catch my eye; the gorgeous soft pink colour and pretty details made my swoon!  Then I nearly lost my mind when I espied the Tea Time Dress!  What a delectable vision in violet!  And the hat?  Fantastic, no?

Whenever I have the opportunity for a give away, I have to believe in the person or organization I am supporting, first and foremost.  I do believe in and support Shabby Apple wholeheartedly.  They offer excellent quality garments with plenty of beautiful details and wonderful fabrics.   They are an independent company who truly value the input of their patrons.

In a definite violet frame of mind and with visions of sugarplum summers dancing in my head, the Bali Ha'i Dress firmly cemented itself as the one to offer to one of you lucky lot!  The scrumptious rich orchid colour was a huge selling point for me, as purple is one of my all-time favourite colours and my hair colour of choice.

I really love the neckline of the dress:  beautifully tucked and pleated it adds such a lovely feminine touch to this dress.  I  love the classic sheath-style of the dress (clearly Pastille is in the forefront of my mind these days!) and the use of universally flattering princess sleeves.

Another aspect that I really like is the multi-seasonal appeal of Bali Ha'i.  During cooler weather, I would happily pair this dress with warm tights, fun shoes, and a fitted cardigan designed to show off the gorgeous collar.  When the weather heats up, simple sandals and a floppy sunhat are the order of the day.
