FESA 2013 Update

I can't believe how fast the time has gone!  We have passed the halfway mark for FESA 2013 and if the photos in the Flickr group are the benchmark, you have been creating some fantastic stuff!

I have been busily working away on my list but have yet to photograph many of the things I have made.  Blame the chilly fall weather and the earlier sunsets.  In the meantime, let's revisit my palettes and tick off my FESA wish list.

Blue Green Palette

From left to right:
Navy cotton twill
Sapphire corduroy: It Takes a Village skirt
Sapphire stretch twill
Nova Scotia Tartan (not plaid as I had previously thought): Bletchley Circle Skirt (completed)
Teal ponte knit: Lady Skater Dress (completed)
Teal corduroy: Gored skirt (completed)
Turquoise cotton twill: Half circle skirt (planned)
Turquoise cotton polka dots
Gardenia in Blue by Patty Young cotton knit: Dress for Miss G (completed); Renfew top (planned)

I've also finished a half circle skirt from a lovely Alexander Henry cherry print.  The fabric has been in my stash for at least two years and I'm delighted that I was finally able to make it up.

I have also been knitting during FESA and finally finished my Penelope jumper.  She is a vintage-style white cotton jumper with a knitted mesh yoke.  I have cast on for Ursula, a pomegranate red jumper loosely based on Susan Crawford's Quick Work in Thick Wool.

All in all, I have managed to make  8 items for FESA! Photos to come!

8 items? Wow!I sure can't say I've made that much...been feeling a bit down lately, I'd lost my sewing mojo and haven't done anything for 3 weeks...Hope I'll be able to finish my overalls on time!
