It's that time of year again! I know, I know. The sun is still shining, the temperatures blazing, who wants to think about cold weather? For us crafty people who enjoy the change of seasons, now is the perfect time to start planning for fall and winter.
This year marks the 4th time I have hosted the Fall Essentials Sew-Along (FESA), which was the brainchild of Ali, Alessa, and myself. Since its inception, Ali has taken a private blog route (big sad face) and Alessa has recently become a fully-fledged doctor! Congratulations Dr. Farbenfreude! I work in a hospital so I know how hectic it can be when you're beginning your medical career. I know Alessa won't mind if I take the reins on this one - it just wouldn't feel right to welcome fall without FESA.
I am delighted to announce that my co-host this year is the lovely Lisette from That 70's Sew. You'll know Lisette from her former blog, What Would Nancy Drew Wear?, and I've been an admirer of hers since she first started blogging.
The format and categories will remain the same - rather like that old, comfy sweater you love, and will kick off on September 1, 2014.
