In 2011, Ali of The Wardrobe, Reimagined and Alessa of Farbenfreude hatched the idea of the Fall Essentials Sew Along (FESA). I was lucky enough to be asked along to enjoy the ride. Since then, FESA has become an annual tradition, stocking one's wardrobe with seasonal essentials.
There are 7 main categories for FESA that are aimed to keep you cozy from head to toe: Fashionable Foundations for Frosty Weather, Chic Chemises for Cool Climates, Fabulous Frocks, Underneath it All, Tender Tootsies, Those Cozy Nights, and Baby It's Cold Outside.
Participants may create from all or only a few (even one!) category depending on their own wardrobe needs. In 2013, knitters were encouraged to join and craft their toasty wares as part of FESA. After all, isn't sweater weather the best weather?
